EXTRA Synteko Extra is a one-component, water-based, low-odour finish for hardwood floors in residential and commercial areas. This is an aromatic copolymer which yellows slightly. It can be used on untreated or previously finished timber surfaces. Synteko Extra gives high resistance to wear, scratching, scuffing, marring and chemicals and is therefore ideal for surfaces subject to heavy wear. Pro is a non-yellowing, easy-to-apply, very low in VOC’s and meets the most stringent of environmental standards in both Europe and USA. Synteko Pro is an aliphatic polyurethane which dries quickly resulting in a naturally clear finish emphasizing the natural colour of the timber. This finish is recommended for residential use and provides a tough and durable surface. It is available in three gloss levels: Matte, Satin and Gloss. SEALMASTER Synteko Sealmaster is a fast drying, non-yellowing non-toxic sealer for use over natural, unstained wood or cork floors. Dries hard in 60-90 minutes for screening and powders well, no ‘gumming’ up, and provides great build. Sealmaster helps reduce grain raise, edge-bonding and the risk of discolouration in oak and other tannin-containing wood species. Sealmaster is a low viscosity sealer providing a longer open time so overlapping marks are generally avoided. Oil and resin rich wood species like teak, cypress etc. must be treated with Synteko Sealmaster 1600 immediately after sanding. Synteko Wood Filler dries like hardwood and can be sawed, sanded, drilled, stained, painted, varnished, lacquered and shellacked.
